Mossbourne Community Academy has been our biggest supporter for three years now and we are thrilled that the students of MCA have chosen to support our charity yet again with money raised at a fundraising event; a sponsored walk, that raised an impressive £800 for Namaste. We are delighted at this success and would like to say a special thanks to all students, teachers, friends and families who took part and helped to organise the fundraising and the event itself.
We have used some of this donation to provide material help to some families who were victims of the earthquakes earlier this year. These families lost their houses and have been struggling to return back to normal life. Some of the money has been put towards grants for education for four children from these struggling families. The remainder is being used to fund our regular charitable activities (for more information see our 2014 Newsletter).
For all MCA students reading this: We have sent you a special letter of thanks from our Nepali representative, explaining in more detail how your donation has made a difference.
We wish you the best of luck with your future fundraising and hope you will continue to support NCHN.
